Pain

This is more of a questions than a posting. But i was wondering would you as a Dominant inflict pain on yourself so as to judge the amount of pain that you would be administring to your submissive especially if you are not in the same room as each other especially in LDRs? Also have you experienced practices that you use on your submissive on yourself beforehand? i suppose these questions are really going out to the Dominants out there.

    I'm going to say no to this for two main reasons. Although good n theory, bad in practice. Knowing what you are going to feel, you can't exact the same pain, in the same manner, on yourself as you would someone else. Also, everyone has different tolerances for pain. What I may think is painful, she may just think is a warm-up, or vice versa.

    I think the best thing you can do is slowly push and find where her threshold is. What you inflict upon her has to be based on what she can take, is willing to take and how she perceives the particular pain. It's different for everyone.

    I tested the cane on my forearm when I first got it to test how it felt, but I don't with anything else. Like DV said, everyone is different. My slut loves the Wartenberg wheel, but my sister, who is a Domme, said her sub finds it excruciating. My slut is no pain slut either...yet.

    Thank you for commenting, i understand what you are saying Sir, im aware each person has their own tolerance of pain but i just was wondering if the Dom also wanted to know what it felt like especially if they were distant from each other.

    hi blossom!! i know for certain that my Dom always experiences first what He inflicts on me. i definitely know that - and He says it's very important for Him to do this to understand what He is doing to me. all the best x

    Thank you sub-kitten, that is good to know, each Dominant has their own way of understanding these things!!! i know my previous Dom didnt do anything like this, he couldnt cope with pain!!!

    I always test everything on myself first. DV is right that everyone is different. However, I know my girls well, and based on what I feel I can gauge how it will feel to them.

    So every instrument, every clamp, etc... I have, I have used on myself first. And boy do the cloverclamps hurt. But I think it's why I appreciate them so much. I know how much she is suffering for me.
